CREATIVE MURALS
(Space, Desert & Surreal Collection)
Creative Brief
This mural series blends surrealism with the Arizona desert landscape, merging local identity with imaginative storytelling. The goal was to create immersive, uplifting environments that inspire creativity and spark curiosity. Each mural introduces a narrative element — from UFO encounters in desert canyons to astronauts exploring new dimensions — symbolizing exploration, innovation, and bold imagination.
Strategy
The murals were designed for business and creative spaces that wanted to stand out visually and emotionally. By integrating pop-culture colors, whimsical shapes, and futuristic details, I created vibrant compositions that energize viewers while maintaining balance and flow across large wall surfaces. The use of bright contrasts and bold linework ensures visibility and impact from a distance, while details invite closer viewing.
Design Process
The process began with digital sketches and thumbnail explorations in Procreate, followed by scaled mockups to visualize the murals in context. Once approved, I used a combination of projection and freehand techniques to bring the designs to life on-site. I layered vibrant acrylics and spray paint to create dimension and depth. Each character and object — from dancing cacti to floating saucers — was refined to express emotion and motion, maintaining harmony throughout the mural composition.
SPORTS MURALS
(Athletic Energy Series)
Creative Brief
This mural collection captures the power, motion, and emotion of professional athletes through expressive realism and bold use of color. The goal was to energize the space while celebrating determination, focus, and excellence in athletic performance.
Strategy
Each mural was developed to evoke inspiration and movement. By emphasizing body language, muscle tension, and facial expression, I aimed to freeze moments of intensity and victory. The bold use of color enhances the sense of strength and rhythm, while simplified backgrounds create a clean, impactful focal point that commands attention in athletic and recreational settings.
Design Process
I began with high-contrast digital studies to define light, shadow, and pose. Once the design direction was approved, I translated the compositions onto large-scale walls using layered acrylics and fine detailing. Careful blending and tonal control brought realism and energy to the figures. Each mural was sealed for long-term durability and finished to complement the mood and texture of the surrounding environment.
